Acera Insurance will host for the second year a private fundraising event as a wrap up to our month-long United Way campaign. For over 30 years, we have been working with the United Way Southern Vancouver Island to raise funds in support of our local communities. Our core purpose is to improve the lives of our clients, team and community. We do this every day by celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive culture where everyone is welcomed and supported. This United Way campaign is designed to meet the growing needs of local organizations in support of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
We are delighted to have two golden hosts and performers Henrietta Dubét and Honey Dewme, to guide us through the evening.

A grand prize of $1,000 in travel credit will be awarded to for the best performance as judged by the audience. You don’t need to know how to sing, just have fun!

What to expect
- The evening begins with the singing competition, followed by a pay-what-you-can karaoke session open to all
(a minimum donation of $10 per song is required). - Contestants and karaoke participants will have the chance to experience their moment of glory on stage.
- Costumes are very much encouraged. Laughs, surprises and good times guaranteed!

- Contestants must register before November 12, 2024 by choosing the ticket: Contestant – SINGING CONTEST. No registrations will be accepted after November 12, 2024.
- One song per participant.
- You can sing solo or in duet. Each contestant must pay their own entrance fee by choosing the ticket: Contestant – SINGING CONTEST.
- Costumes are strongly encouraged.
- The winners will be determined by the audience who will vote online.
- The competition is open to amateur singers only.
