Optional Critical Illness Insurance

As an optional add-on coverage, Critical Illness Insurance helps provide financial support if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness.

Critical illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, and stroke are major concerns in Canada, accounting for over 50% of deaths. Given the statistics, having a financial safety net is crucial. The Voluntary Critical Illness Benefit provides this security by offering lump-sum payments that cover a wide range of expenses, from medical bills to daily living costs.

Optional Life Insurance

Voluntary life insurance offers a tax-free lump sum payment to your beneficiaries in the event of your death. This coverage is available in addition to your group plan and provides the same advantages, including lower rates, and no medical exams. Through the Simply Benefits Marketplace, you can purchase voluntary life insurance, with coverage options up to $100,000, and spousal coverage available, allowing you to secure financial protection for yourself and your loved ones.
