The essential coverage your industry needs.
Your coverage options depend on the size of your aircraft, how you use it, where you fly, and if it is for private or commercial use. With access to various, competitive markets and dedicated experts, our brokers will help you secure an aviation insurance policy to balance your unique coverage needs with your budget. Common coverages include:
Aircraft Hull and Liability
This standard coverage for a single aircraft you both own and pilot includes liability, property damage and medical expenses.
Scheduled Aircraft Liability
This covers injury and property damage to a third party caused by the operation of a specified aircraft listed in your policy.
Temporary Substitute Aircraft Liability
This extends third-party liability insurance to a temporary substitute aircraft (if it is similar to a type of aircraft you currently have insured).
Non-Owned Aircraft Liability and Damage
This provides third-party liability and property damage coverage to an aircraft you do not own. There may be limitations on the type and/or weight of the aircraft, as well as the number of passengers you can carry onboard (if any).
Aircraft Premises Liability
This coverage provides protection for damage to airport premises while operating an aircraft.
Hangar & Contents Liability
This covers damage to a hangar and its contents caused during the operation of an aircraft.
Cargo & Personal Effects Liability
Damage and loss to cargo and personal effects carried by an aircraft are covered with this type of insurance policy.
Sale of Aircraft, Parts, or Services Liability
This covers a seller in the event a third-party experiences bodily injury or property damage as a result of the product or service sold.
Public Liability
Also referred to as third-party liability insurance, this covers damage to third party property, such as houses, vehicles and even other aircraft, in the event of an accident.
Passenger Liability
This provides compensation for the cost of medical treatments for crew and passengers if they are injured while traveling in your aircraft.
Grounding Liability
This provides protection if there is an accident that requires grounding an aircraft until a pending investigation, repair or modification is completed. If a claim arises out of the loss of use of the aircraft, ground liability helps cover the financial losses.
Terrorism &/or Sabotage Insurance
This insurance is designed to protect aviation businesses and operators against losses resulting from terrorist attacks, hijacking, sabotage and confiscation. It primarily focuses on property damage and business interruption coverage.
Physical Damage
This helps with the cost of repair or replacement of your aircraft and any related tools or equipment, if they are damaged or destroyed. This coverage can be purchased for ground risks only (in motion or not in motion) and/or in-flight risks.
