Acera Insurance Run for L’Arche

In 2011, Acera Insurance (formerly Rogers Insurance) established the Run for L’Arche. We continue to coordinate and lead what is now one of the most popular early spring season events on the Calgary running calendar. Each year, our staff both run and volunteer to help raise money for this event.

Our annual event supports L’Arche Calgary — an organization that fosters a community of belonging, togetherness, diversity and humanity for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Since 2011, we’ve raised over $735,000 to support L’Arche Calgary’s five homes, the Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) and Tamarack Day Program.

Thanks to your support, our 2023 event raised over $80,000 for L’Arche Calgary!

Donations & Fundraisers

Even if you are not a runner and can’t make it to volunteer at our in-person event, we still need your vital support.

Consider registering as an Ambassador! You can support a participant or build a team of fundraisers, and we will be drawing for great prizes to recognize your efforts. Individual donations make a difference, every dollar counts.
