Your SunLife benefits plan is designed to:
- Be meaningful and supportive of the associate and their family’s health;
- Ensure the appropriate levels of care are in place when accessed and needed;
- Meet or exceed plans for those who compete for the same talent;
- Provide the associate with the flexibility to choose coverage based on their lifestyle and health care needs.
1x annual earnings up to a $300,000 maximum
Medical evidence is required for coverage over $250,000
Reduces by 50% at age 65 – maximum benefit is $50,000 at age 70
Terminates at the earlier age of 75 or retirement

Canada Life Group Retirement Plan
Designed to help our staff save for retirement in a cost-effective manner, meet or exceed plans for those who compete for the same talent and align with Lafert North America values.
Full-time employees are eligible following 3 months of employment.
Participation is voluntary.
Regular and voluntary contributions are voluntary. You can join immediately and make regular contributions to the plan. You will not be eligible for employer contributions until you’ve completed 3 months of employment.
Lafert North America will match your contributions up to 3% of your gross salary.
Each member will choose their investment allocation.
The default fund is Continuum TDF.
Withdrawals are not allowed from the contributions made by the employer and employee.
Withdrawals are permitted for CRA’s Home Buyers and Lifelong Learning plans.
CRA’s Home Buyers: This program allows you to withdraw funds from your RRSP to buy or build a home for yourself or a related person with a disability. You can pay back the withdrawn funds within a 15-year period.
Lifelong Learning: This plan allows you to withdraw up to $10,000 in a calendar year from your RRSP to finance full-time training or education for you or your spouse/common-law partner.
