MEF Services has transitioned to become Acera Benefits, a division of Acera Insurance. As one unified company, we are now one of Canada’s largest independent and employee-controlled brokerages.
About MEF Services
Established in 1999 by industry veteran Stephen J. Melling, CFP, EPC, Melling Estate and Financial Services (MEF) Services offered personal lines insurance and group benefits analysis and implementation. They created an extensive network of financial management experts able to deliver comprehensive solutions personalized for all kinds of client situations, from simple to complex.
They grew to be one of the largest independently owned firms in our market of Western Canada and in March 2024 partnered with Acera Insurance Services Ltd. to join the Acera Benefits division.
